DESCRIPTION

The CPS Elites program is created and led by Coach Emmanuel, who serves as the Lead Coach for all sessions. The program is built around his REP philosophy, which emphasizes the importance of extra repetitions for mastery and focuses on three core technical areas: Receiving, Evasion, & Passing. The program aims to help players develop a strong technical foundation that supports a possession-based style of football and prepares them to succeed in any position on the field, from goalkeepers to strikers. Each session includes a dedicated technical component centered on REP principles, followed by fun, competitive gameplay where players apply these skills in a group setting.

R

Receiving — focus on developing a first touch that sets up the next action.

Players will work on all types of receiving—firm, bouncing, and lobbed passes—while building confidence in different scenarios. Emphasis is placed on active first touches, correct body shape, and preparing the ball effectively for the next action.

E

Evasion — focus on keeping the ball under pressure through movement and skill.

Players will learn the difference between taking opponents on 1v1 and protecting the ball from pressure. The focus is on evasion through turns, body feints, shielding, and developing creativity and control, particularly in tight spaces.

P

Passing — focus on clean and effective distribution, both on the ground and in the air.

This will include honing the details of passing—weight, accuracy, and timing—along with the ability to execute quick combinations. Significant emphasis will also be placed on technique when playing balls in the air.

PROGRAM START DATE — IMPORTANT UPDATE

CPS Elites currently has a tentative start date, as the official launch of the program will depend on the number of applications received. A sufficient group size is required in order to operate sessions inside the dome, which carries fixed overhead costs such as lighting, heating, and facility usage. Once a sufficient number of applications has been received and the program is confirmed to move forward, an email will be sent to all registered families with full details regarding the start date and next steps. Thank you for your patience and understanding — we truly appreciate your interest in CPS Elites and look forward to getting started as soon as possible.
